scotti's bite : Ok so many of you have questions about what happened so here it is~

Scotti was with my mom visiting family friends and their Akita Miko who had 4 day old puppies. Lots of people had been around the mama and puppies in the last few days so it seemed OK to have Scotti see the little guys that have not even open their eyes yet. So my mom and Scotti went to see the puppies and Miko the mama with out a warning bit Scotti right in the face. We feel SO very lucky that this is all the happened and know that it could have been so much worse!

My girl was so Brave not even a tear~ she said that it was a lesson and the the mama dog was just protecting her babies.

After 5 hours she has 5 stitches and is being watched to see if we can get it to heal as clean possible.

She told me that scars are OK and that it helps tell that story of her life.

My parents had doggy sat for this dog Miko and Scotti had played with Miko on a few different occasions. All I want to say is that even when you know a dog you dont really know them...
PLEASE be careful around dogs and keep you face away from theirs.

Learn from us you dont want to go through this... it has not been fun!!!
