09.09.09 The end This was a sad morning for us... went to feed the Chickens a morning snack and came out to our 3 girls who had given there life to a Raccoon. It was a sad sight... this is what was left... feathers eveywnere and one lonley egg. We will really miss the girls..... Angel, Daisy and Rose may you RIP! and to the raccoon you better hope I don't find you!!!!

06.03.09 the amazing storm I know many of you are very lucky to see lighting storms often, but not me. Here in roseville Ca. we are lucky to see 1-2 a year. this storm was AMAZING AMAZING!!!! well at least for us. I didn't think I got a good photo but I think this is a pretty good shot for a first timer storm shotter. I wish I could have more storm ops. I will need to visit people like James Hill to ge some pratice! Watch out James here I come!

10.30.08 The First Rain!!! It seams like it has been 8 months since we have seen this stuff~ Wahoo it is here!!!

07.26.08 The Chief's view I doubled up on my "SOTD" today. I didn't want to leave either thing out. This is the reason for the trip to Seattle a Nascar race. With my camera in hand (of course)I was in the pit and it was a pretty neat and new experience. I was very excited to take pics of the racewith 150 laps and pit action. I was waiting to get the pit photos at lap 76 when Jamie Dick #88 was hit on lap 73 and messing up the car enough to knock him out of the race. At this point I stopped taking photos, not really a moment to document. Every one was a bit bummed out` But that is the name of the game. But I really liked this photo of Mike Nakke The Crew Chief and Team Manager watching every move Jamie Dick #88 in the blue car makes as he races around the track. I will post more of the trip to Seattle and race photo soon.
